Whether on the field playing or in the dugout coaching, Bryan has been involved with baseball for over 35 years. He has a passion for the game and for the development of baseball players. He currently coaches an AAU Super Division Team in Cumberland, RI. In 2019, the Team had a 20-3 record and was the #1 Seed in the Open Division.
Bryan played college ball for Massachusetts Maritime Academy. As a sophomore, he developed a significant elbow condition that resulted in surgery and extensive physical therapy in the off-season. He was not ready to hang up the cleats so he persevered and returned to the game. As a pitcher, Bryan was determined to achieve pinpoint accuracy with all his pitches. That determination payed off in his junior year when he walked 3 batters in the entire season. In his senior year he only allowed 2 walks during the entire season (58 Innings). His performance that year earned him ALL Conference Team Honors.
Bryan is involved with Area Scouts to pass on his passion and love for this great game to younger ballplayers. Developing baseball players and seeing the results is a rewarding experience and he will use his knowledge/experience to evaluate and improve players to their max potential.
